The Great
Current
When I open my eyes
each morning at dawn,
I ask God to show me
the path to move on.
that lights up my life,
the spark that directs me
to seek what is right.
no power to move,
no power to reach out
wherever I choose.
that leads hearts to love,
to light up the darkness
like stars shine above.
and source of our all,
each day brings us new life
to answer Love’s call.
to brighten a room,
we can dispel darkness;
with God’s help we do.
